Default G80 block question

I have a water block for my 8800GTX. Suppose i shift to a 9 series, i wont be able to use it on there now would i? Its a danger den full coverage block.

The bad thing about full coverage blocks is 99% of the time they only work with a small number of cards.

It probably won't work with the 9 series, definitely not the 9800GX2.

dont shift to the 9 series. you wont notice the added performance if there is any. just wait for the "10" series.
