It was a joke referring to an old trick of cracking an egg into a leaking car's radiator, it actually worked for like 1/16" holes. Anyways, I would also recommend JB weld.

If you can clip the fins back from around the hole, just clip and gently push them back...Then sand the paint off it and solder on a little brass or copper patch, then push the fins back, it wont hurt your cooling to much...
If you cant or don't want to do that sand it around the hole to bare metal then use some of this.. ![]() If you already have some regular J&B Weld just run with it....
