my current setup is
cpu: Swiftech Apogee GT
rad: 1x 120 MCR120-QP
pump: MCP350
res: MCRes Micro

I upgraded from a Pentium D @3.4 to a Q6600 @ 3.4 and my temps shot up to 60c under load, can you guys give me any advice for a new setup?

You just need another bigger rad, a Swifty 320 would be OK if you like running lower cfm fans on it...If you don't mind 100+ cfm a BIX would be a good one...

More expensive would be a GTX.....

i was thinking of also adding the north and south bridges to the loop , would my pump be able to handle that? and i was wondering what blocks to use for them. i have $300 to spend.

I'd just use a HSF on the SB for sure...If you really want to do it and NB to your pump should be fine...Swiftech makes a pretty nice non-restrictive one and Danger den has some nice new ones to..Danger Den...If you can get away with HSF's on them I'd just go that route...This is what I use for NB..Swiftech MCX159-CU Extreme Duty

Agreed.....IMO WC the nb/sb is pointless....just more restriction in your loop. The NB heatsink that ira linked you to will be more than enough for cooling the NB. You could also use a thermalright HR-05 IFX which is what im currently using in my rig.

Definitely need a bigger rad though Swifty 320 will be plenty for just cooling your quad....i was using the swifty 320 to cool my quad before i rebuilt my rig and it worked well

ok then scratch the chipset cooling, ill go with just a 320 rad then thanks guys.
one more thing, what fans should i put on the 320, im going for silent and the antec tricools that came with the case are loud

almost any fan can be "silent" with a fan controller http://www.petrastechshop.com/surhfanspcob.html The antec tricools are quiet on low to me? Ive read a lot of good things about these and a lot of people say they are very quiet http://www.petrastechshop.com/surhfanspcob.html You can also check out the 120mm fan review in my sig....it's a lot of reading but it's worth it

the tricools are quiet on low but i have to run all 5 of them on high, i never thought about a fan controller

haha well now you have The sunbeam is a great cheap fan controller, im using it on my San Aces for my radiator and i love it.....the LEDs on it are VERY bright though just thought i would give you a heads up

You don't have to "scratch" it (Chipsets). Just don't WC them. Get some good after market air cooling. Should fit within your budget. For fans, these medium speed, 38mm Ultra Kaze fan might be good:

I'd also get some fan gaskets to ensure a tight seal:
