new rad has minor dent (pics)... advice?
I ordered a couple rads from NCIX earlier this week and they got in last night. i didnt take a good look at them yesterday but today when i was mounting fans to the 2x120 fan i noticed a small dent on the lower right corner of the rad. there is also some paint missing. can someone tell me if this will affect the flow in the radiator. will it have any negative effect other than visual?? im trying to decide whether to RMA it or not cuz i kind of want to get this build going this weekend. any advice will be helpful.. thanks

I would do a leak test on it to make sure it is good. I dont think that would hurt performance as long as it is sealed. Bummer mang.

 Personally I would RMA/Exchange them. You waited and paid.... seems you should get what you waited and paid for. I know that you are eager to get wet, but you might regret this later. Consider: You may wish to sell it someday....

I agree with ice owl. I would touch up the paint and use it if it has no leakage. Rma takes too much time

the paint on swiftech rad is horrible so expect to lose a lot more of it especially now that its started. i personally wouldnt even think twice about it

Wont affect performance but that little dent and missing paint will hurt resale value

Yep they sent you damaged goods or it was damaged in shipment. Either way you shouldnt have to put up with that. Send it back.

yep i have already started the rma process. better to wait for quality items than to rush. it just gives me more time to get all the tubing nice and l33t..
