So i fixed my d-tek FuZion cpu block issue... but now... when i first got my radiator (Black Ice GT Stealth X-Flow 240) it had a leaking issue whereby the barbs werent fitted tight enough, with some more tightening and some engine thread fastener applied it was permanentely fixed.
Now... the actual tubing is leaking!!! i did a leak test in the bathroom with water and the mere pressure of the pipes having water in it... without moving made them leak... ALOT!! I am using metal screwable clamps.... still leak, removed and still leaks.... How can i stop this. These radiator barbs have given me H.E.Double hockey sticks.

im using this all around the kit... nothing else leaks except the two barbs on the radiator. The barbs are made by D-tek, same ones used on my CPU block which doesnt leak.

i had a problem with my rad barbs also not that long ago. i tightened them down to much and the rubber gasket ring was pull outside the barb. you might want the take the barbs back out and put some more sealer on them, but dont tighten them that much. dont use tools, tighten them to where your fingers start hurting i guess lol.

yer but my barbs arent leaking anymore..
its the tubing. When attached with or without clamps they just leak non stop. i dont get it. its as if its impossible to attach tubing to the barbs without it leaking.

almost any kind of clamp will leave like an air passage like this
![]() go to the store and pick up a bunch of zip-ties and do this. it will try and cancel out the air passage. you just have to offset the gap caused by the zip ties. you can keep the clamp on there but put a zip tie next to it ![]()

first, don't over tighten your barbs, you'll cause warpage in the o-ring and cause a leak.
second, don't over tighten the auto clamps, you'll cut into the tubing. They just need to be snug. replace the tubing that's leaking, and don't over tighten things, you should be good to go.

If you left your tubing a little over long like you should of, just cut off a barbs length on the ends, so if its cut or something it wont keep leaking there...
Yeah if your having problems with the clamps try 2 or 3 zip-ties on each barb if you can...I like clamps better but I have zip-ties all over everything to..Sometimes I'll use a clamp and a zip-tie or two on each barb depending on the pump I'm using....
