no. BUt I'd be a bit afraid to use it because 1. It's ab-so-effing-loot-ly permanent AFAIK and 2. It may still be slightly conductive and if you were the least bit sloppy a very bad chain of events may take place.
Example: glues copper ramsinks on, shorts card, creates an RMA, attempts to remove ramsinks, rips off mem chips, oh **** moment, attempts to seperate disembodied memchips from epoxied on ramsinks, breaks memchip, video card-less...

this may be an exaggeration but I've had some weird over the top crap heppen to me b4, lol.

I've been using AS epoxy since my GeForce 4 ti4600 and have attached RAM/VRm sinks to several cards with it.

It work's quite well, but you do need to be somewhat careful.

It can be removed, though if you don't thin it out with a non-adhesive paste (I find that one part "Part A", one part "Part B", and three parts AS5 get it where I want it), you have to be prepared to let it soak in high purity acetone for upwards of a week. I use a glass baking tray and two pints of the stuff to submerge entire cards, cover it with plastic wrap and stick it in a cabinent.

Also, the instructions for spreading are fairly useless. I mix up a small batch of it, then paint a line down the chip I am going to sink. I then put the heatsink on, press down firmly and slide it around a bit untill both surfaces are covered and starting to stick. If you have any appreciable amount seep out, you've probably used too much. This is bad because it's very conductive. It works best with lapped sinks.

Have you already bought the sinks? The Swifty sinks you can heat the adhesive with a lighter a little bit and they will stick better....Some guys just use a little TIM with super glue on the corners, I've never tried that...

I used some of these, which are pressure sensitive on my v-reg's and little mobo chips, I had to RMA the mobo and I had a hard time getting these off, they were on there tight...Enzotech BMR-C1 Forged Copper BGA Ramsinks..

I'm using the low profile Enzotech sinks on the VRAM of the card in my sig. The work quite well, and the thermal tape is surprisingly good. I used thined AS adhesive to attach a different set of lapped RAM sinks to the power regulators.

Those are the sinks I have. The ones near where my tubes come out of my block always fall off when I'm messing with my card. I'd like to permanently adhere them. I don't really like those thermal pads too much. They only work well once. If you knock one off, they don't adhere very well again.

I use this on numerous things like NB and SB sinks, and ALU ramsinks on my 8800gt. It is safe but anything you stick with it is permanently permanent.

Well if you want them on permanently, that 2 part epoxy should do it...

I recently used the artic adhesive for copper heat sinks on a 8800gt. It was pretty painless. I mixed up a very small amount and just put a dab in the center of the heat sink. I moved the heat sink a little when it was on the chip to ensure it was evenly coated and put it in place.

I put less than what the instructions called for mainly just so I didn't get too much of the product on and risk a drip, and honestly I don't think you need a lot of this for the heat sinks to stick.
