Okay so I'm trying to build a custom Loop, but I already have the Thermaltake Bigwater 760i which has an idel temp or about 32-36 degree C sometimes higher for some strange reason. I want to go lower than my current temp but I was thinking instead of getting rid of the 760i I could add to it.
__________________![]() I was thinking the loop should be like the picture below: Keep in mind that the 760i is Res> Rad> Pump > CPU> Back to Res This will help better: ![]() Also the links for the added parts that I will be adding. Does anyone know if Kollance products are any good. CPU Block: http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...product_id=664 3 Fan Shroud: http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...product_id=634 The Pump is still a maybe and if I do add a second pump the specs will have to be the same as the original 760i Pump or close I have also been looking into getting an Aqarium/Water Chiller. What do you guys think? ![]()

The pumps that Thermaltake uses are very weak, and are very prone to failure. Adding more stuff into that loop, while keeping the pump, is not really a good idea. Adding a 2nd will only work correctly if it is the same pump, but it will still be the same bad Thermaltake quality. What is your budget on this project? That will give us a better idea of what we can direct you towards.

I can Sell the 760i on ebay, and really start from scratch. roningai I did read the reviews for the 760i when I bought if from Tigerdirect.com, and all had good things to say, so I figured why not, but as for the Koolance Products I have not seen any reviews, or tried to at least. Back to bdattilo I've been told after I had set the 760i that the pump is weak, and not worth the time, but I don't want to realize that, but if I have to I am willing to spend $250 maybe $350 on a Custom Loop. Not including what I get back if I sale the 760i on ebay.
__________________My temps are around 32-36 degrees C, and when I listen to Music it jumps to around the 40's When playing Crysis or Call of Duty 4 around the 60's. I'm not to sure about the music and the temps there It just seems like they should be lower. And I guess thats a good temp for Playing Games but I'm not really sure. Before I had this Rig I had a Crappy computer, not worth anyones time, but none the less I took good care of it, untill the Xbox arrived. I played it, liked it, and I still played on the computer only to browse the web, and play old arse games, but then the Xbox 360 came, and I played only to be torn away from my favorite friend, whom I cold contend with, and never complained at me. But alas my friend died and I came back to computers full time, and now water cooling is in my head, and I must learn to harness the power of the cool gods, for I could never forgive myself if Black Matter imploded, and went to Electronic Heaven Like my Xbox 360. Never again![]()
