1--2x1200 mm radiaor
1-- thermaltake resovor
d-tek water block
quad core q6660
780i mother board

Tubbing is not kinked but pretty long. idle temps are between 32-40c..I have seen or read about rigs maintaning 10-15c. The quad is not overclocked. Wondering if any one can suggest what to do.

I would try to reseat the block at least once more. Also, make sure it is actually flowing- sometimes mine just slowly moves through but sounds like it is going normally.
If it was a TT block I would recommend lapping it but the d-tek shouldn't need that.

there are two common things with the TT kit.

1. Pump can die. (happened to my life long mate)
2. Radiator can leak. (happened to mE!!!)

Consider that the other kits are also using copper radiators not aluminium as well as much higher flow pumps.

My new kit for instance uses a 240mm copper radiator (car based design), high flow Laing D5 pump and 1/2" tubing.

I stay at 15-17 degrees all the time. never gone above even at load

Your right I do not even know the name brands on these rads and the pump sucks. I am going to buy me a good set of copper rads and a good pump.
