Default Loop advice: CPU/NB/Mosfets + GPUs/SB?

I finally got in the last pieces to put my whole board on water.

(Please refrain from the "You don't need it on the SB/Mosfets comments". I want water on all of them )

My loops are currently 1: CPU/NB and 2: GPUs

I was going to simply add the Mosfets to loop 1 and the SB to loop 2.

However, I was thinking that since the CPU and the NB are probably the two that generate the most heat, it might be better to throw the mosfets into loop 2.

Any thoughts?

I'm running 2 PA120.2's in with fans in push/pull with MCP655's on each loop.

Here's a shot of the way it is right now. I also finally got some EK stubbies to properly set up the GPUs without that big loop off the side (which stops me from putting on the side panel )

real nice!

I agree with you on the fact that the cpu+NB loop would have the most heat..but since you have gpu's cooled also..I would think that they are heating up their loop quite well. Just for routing purposes, it may be unreasonable to loop the VR's with the SB..[aesthetically it will look better to 'split' the loops between the top and bottom of the mobo<- my opinion] I would just put the VR blocks after the NB and call it good. They will be cooled much better even last in the loop- compared to stock cooling.

*I have a 5block setup..no gpu in loop yet..so the connection from the last VR to the SB is a loong one. [my loop = CPU->NB->VR1->VR2->SB->D5->PA120.3]

It's always an option

But realistically speaking, space is an issue in this case. I've got an internal 120.2 in the front drivebays and another on a radbox on the back of the case. So it would be tough to squeeze in another loop.

That was my thinking too. Top part of the board in one loop, and bottom in the other. But since the GPU loop comes out of the top of the case anyway, I could probably route that tube to the mosfets, then drop down to the GPUs and end up at the SB then back to the res....

My concern is more for the cooling and the flow, but I guess with these pumps I should be good.

Here's a wider angle shot of what they look like (this is still pre-cable management):

I run my setup on one D5.. and idling under 30c [cpu] when its not too hot in the house. I dont think you are going to have any issues with flow. Matter of fact..Why not just run one big loop and both pumps?

Ya think?

I don't know, I'd have to do a lot of replumbing...probably have to order more tubing.

How would the loop go?

Res>Pump1>Rad1>CPU>NB>VR>Pump2>Rad2>GPUs>SB>Res (That's a beast of a loop)

Big Loop is muy manly.. it has larger eepeen-appeal than a dual-loop setup.

Yeah... but I think I'll just stick with two. My epeen is big enough

Plus I like the red and black loops...
