I have this kit and its good for the money IMO
plenty good for a mild - high OC depending on your room\water temps has everything you need to get you going - good for newbs I was able to hit 4ghz but can only manage to run 3dmark06, prime95 would crash within few minutes for 24x7 I run at 3.8 with a 1.48 vcore temps are low 30's idle, gaming temps while playing crysis low to mid mid 40's prime 95 temps low 60's

Nice! runing 3.8ghz for 24/7 will make me very happy.

If you can afford it, spend the extra 75.00 and get the Ultra, I have had it for 2+ years now and love it, and when it comes to performance the extras you get with the kit are well worth it.

For a CPU only this should do extremely well. Just want to point out though that the advantage is that you have a the needed components packaged together. You will still have to assemble them just as you would with separates - but it ain't that tough.
