I'd lap the Fuzion before the cpu.

If it is a newer fuzion, it is bowed from the factory. Not sure it is a good idea to lap it. You can try another reseat. My temps are a few degrees off as well.

well lap it after you take it apart.
uhm.... but those are good temps for idle? (using cortemp to read?) what's your ambient, clocks, and voltage? the ones in your sig? if so, very nice... what's it loading at with prime95 small FFTs?

since my last post i have reseated my fuzion and ran doublemark (great work licht) for about 20 minutes. 100% load across all 4 cores with temps which seems to have stabilized at 62/60/52/52.

Yea those temps seem way far apart. I just put my q6600 in a MB with the zalman 9700 and im getting idle of 30 30 30 27. Cant remember the load temps atm.
