Default Watercooling supply/deals

Hey, I am about to embark on the adventure that is watercooling...

I just wanted to know where a good place to get components would be. I see FrozenCpu has a lot of options, but for so much moolah (newegg just has crap). I was looking into D-tek and swiftech cpu blocks and would like one or the other. (the swiftech apogee gtx looks sweet and is actually in stock at FCPU!)

Anyway, I would like advice and money saving ideas!

Thanks in advance!

Money-saving ideas you ask? Well there's quite a few actually.
If you want to save a fair chunk of coin, get a heater core rad. here or at an auto parts store. I just went to the store and said "It needs to be yea big, and have 1/2 in fittings, got anything?"

You could also go with cheaper tubing, like masterclear, or if you're really cheap, get some home depot 1/2 inch tubing .

Do the automotive heater cores use copper or aluminium? If so isn't that problem with the blocks.

Observe the ultimate in DIY water cooling (well, maybe not ultimate, but i think it's pretty good )

I only paid for water blocks, and the heater core... It's nice having a dad who's an appliance tech .

Anyways, an aquarium pump would work nicely, so long as you don't have really restrictive water blocks.

the bonneville heater core is copper tubes, which is all the water passes through, and all that matters, and the old chevelles too... places for parts:
http://www.petrastechshop.com/

some penny pinchers
1) 7/16" masterkleer tubing
2) zip ties in place of clamps
3) T-Line in place of a reservoir
4) used parts, never hurt...at least from a good source, check the for sale section here

nice setup =) , but I decided to cave and do things the right way. I am buying stuff from FrozenCPU that I know will work together. I will be able to use this liquid cooling system on any number of systems for a long time so I figured the price was ok.
