Holy crap, yes! Fill out your system specs in the User CP here: http://www.overclock.net/specs.php?do=addsystem
Also, try downloading HWMonitor and see if the temps are still the same: http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php

If that is idle then it is hot. I assume you are using a Q6600?

Remeber that that is Fahrenheit. Celsius would be 52,51,48,48. Ok I see your on water. Then IMO that would be very warm.

HWMonitor is reporting the same temperatures.
__________________Ambient temp is at 81f. I don't understand why the CPU temp from the motherboard is reporting 30c, yet the cores are between 42c and 46c at idle. The waterpump seems to be working ok and the block seems cool to the touch. Any suggestions?

Bring ambient temps Down to 70-72ºF and you'll see a major difference

Oops. Haha. I hadn't noticed it was in Farenheit. Then yeah, those temps aren't as horrible as I thought they were. Just a note to the original poster, most people on here use Celcius when measuring the temp.
