Default CPU running hot?

Hi

Speedfan is reporting the following temps

CPU Temp - 95f
System Temp 99f
Core 0 - 126f
Core 1 - 124f
Core 2 - 120f
Core 3 - 120f

Do they seem a little high?

If that is idle then it is hot. I assume you are using a Q6600?

Remeber that that is Fahrenheit. Celsius would be 52,51,48,48. Ok I see your on water. Then IMO that would be very warm.

Default HWMonitor

HWMonitor is reporting the same temperatures.

Ambient temp is at 81f.

I don't understand why the CPU temp from the motherboard is reporting 30c, yet the cores are between 42c and 46c at idle.

The waterpump seems to be working ok and the block seems cool to the touch.

Any suggestions?

Bring ambient temps Down to 70-72ºF and you'll see a major difference

Oops. Haha. I hadn't noticed it was in Farenheit. Then yeah, those temps aren't as horrible as I thought they were. Just a note to the original poster, most people on here use Celcius when measuring the temp.

if you were getting those temps while playing then its not too bad,I never go over 44 whilst gaming so maybe you need to reseat
