What do you have a bay res? Are you sure you have it bleed all the way? And what kind of coolant are you using?

My coolant caused some foam for a while too, but after a few days it all just started going away and now it's gone. When I first put the coolant in my system my temps actually raised about 4 or 5 degrees... now they are back down.

I use feser coolant and the mcp655. Same as D5. Mine has no speed adjust so I'm pretty sure its always at "5" if it were adjustable. If the system is completely bled even at max the pump should not cause cavitation. Depending on the orientation of the pump, it can allow air to get stuck inside. The bay you use is also a single high I believe and the D5 can easily create enough suckion to pull in air in the res. When you crank it up look at the line feeding the pump very closely and see if you can see any bubbles. Also my loop take about 24hrs to be fully bled due to the lack of a res. :-)
If possible could you get a pic of the setup? I also have a prob with small amounts of air collecting in the radiators but tipping the case both ways a couple times fixes it.

http://www.petrastechshop.com/swmchire.html 20 bucks is not bad; this is the res I use and it rocks. It would make bleeding a heck of alot easier, and I'll bet your bubble/foam problem would go away.
