Just a few things here: XSPC X20 Delta CPU block - £30 and performs 1-2C worse than a Fuzion. Really good block fr the price. Although the Fuzion is £37 if you want to spend the extra money. Laing DDC Pro w/ XSPC top - £50 XSPC R360 radiator - £30, i have a similar model but this has taken over the price range and it performs flawlessly. You could upgrade to a Black Ice Stealth GT for £37. XSPC Bay Res - £20, you could cut this down to £10 by getting a Fillport 3x Yate Loon fans - £13.50 4ft of 1/2" XSPC tubing - £10 10 x Hose clips - £4.30 although this can be cut down to £1.20 by getting cable ties instead. And thats about it. Great quality but fairly budget parts. £157.80 is the total cost. And no need to worry about shipping as all orders over £150 come with free shipping. All prices are from WatercoolingUK.co.uk

I was wondering if you could use a low viscosity veg oil as a coolant because it would have certain advantages over water based coolants; for instance the viscosity would lower the hotter it got so it would flow faster, if a leak or crack occurred in the system their would be no risk of it shorting and damaging electrical components.
The cons on the other hand would be: The pump would have to be very strong and variable, the cooling matrix would have to be very efficient because of the lower boiling point, the feed pipes would have to be thicker. Im sure some of the problems with oil could be controlled using additives and quality parts but do you think its feasible ? |

If you're using an all aluminum loop, then you're fine. Throw copper in there and you're sol....

It's also the quality of their components, just sub par.
