Why aren't your cores showing a 100% load?

Interesting results so far. I also have a TRUE lapped and it petered out around the 3.910Ghz (with 120MM Panaflo 114 CFM Fan) I'm running now on the Coolit Elite. TRUE just couldn't dissipate the heat with any stability at this OC or higher, I've done 4.04Ghz stable as well (all with ambients around 26-28C) loading mid 50's. I have clearly shows this unit is 5-10C cooler (45nm processor) than a TRUE at which max'd at 3.89Ghz I think it was, so my interest would lye only with a custom WC kit. I'll keep this bookmarked to keep reading
![]() Quote:" think this is more for people who want a watercooled PC, but do not want to risk actually making a loop, leak testing etc. I loved the simplicity of it." That's the reason I bought it and reading differing reviews is confusing. My experience however is very positive and nothing air can compete, I'd question basic water setups as well coming close, heck the thing is quiet at 100% not sure what the buzz about that is, Maybe because I ran 3 panaflo 114CFM Fans previously, going to this is near silent lol. http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...er-review.html Yet another review on a great product.

I am not disputing your results but please don't use the hardware canucks review as hard evidence as I can provide half a dozen other reviews that are quite the opposite...

Sounds good
Note that if you just tried to run Prime95 with that cpu at only 3.6Ghz and 1.41v, I would bet my left foot the cpu and heat is not the culprit, possibly another components on the board or ram, who knows, just guessing. Maybe the block isn't seated well enough? I had to fuss with mine and reseat it properly to make sure good contact was being made, it was a bit of a pain to get it right. Above 3.6Ghz on a q6600 is where it would get really interesting. That should be a no brainer to cool with most high end Air coolers as well stable with prime95 so keep messing around maybe drop Ram to lowest setting to eliminate it as well.We could post reviews all day long so I will renag on my hardware canuck review just for your sake. http://www.nordichardware.com/Review...&skrivelse=520 where are these guys from? If they're Canadian and west coast I'll go crawl back into my hole and enjoy my Coolit by myself ![]()
