Default Coolit Freezone VS my W/C setup.
I just ordered all my W/C parts and will install tonight, but i am curious as to the results i will get over the Freezone CPU cooler I currently have. I am currently getting around 38 degrees on all cores with the freezone. I will update this thread to let everyone know what the temps differences are, in case anyone was curious of the difference between TEC's (although low powered) and a custom water loop.

You know, i am interested in your performance on the Coolit Freezone keep us updated as i'm considering a Freezone Elite sometime down the line and am interested how they perform. But at a wild guess, i would imagine a custom waterkit would beat it.

oh, i do not doubt it. I do not have the Elite version and I get 38 degrees on my q6600 while at 3.6 (1.48125 vcore) So, i think that is pretty good. The Elite will be even better.

One of the biggest advantages of the Elite is also the fact that is comes with the MTEC control center, which (AFAIK) is ESA ready and allows for finer control of the Freezone or Freezone Elite.

i almost bought it, but i just cranked the control unit it comes with to 100% and it ran nice and cool.

Ok. Water Cooling is installed and just going through leak test. Here is the results for when i had the Freezone installed.

i would be a better comparison if you did load temps for both
