Alright well its been a few days looking at distilled water and Im bored of it already
![]() However, I can't justify $15-20 to ship some UV dye from petras or whatevers I have two UV lit fans (Antec spot cool) so I am thinking about wanting UV reactive I also have a black light... not the CCFL type, the one you find in night clubs or something that makes your white articles glow Can I use this in any way? Its two feet long!!!! Pretty powerful tooOne more thing... Instead of using highlighters, I need something really concentrated (or have a way of increasing concentration) I have about 1 inch of headroom left in my reservoir and I do not want to hurt temps at all. Im also concerned about cleaning goop out

1 inch is enough room for plenty of highlighter fluid...
AFAIK it doesnt hurt temps, and never heard stories about goop. so why no highlighters?

Get out of here stalker!

Highlighters left crap in my waterblocks. I'll never use it again. Now I just use pentosin G11 and pt nuke with distilled water. That's never gunked up on me before. I only ran feser red for a month or two, but it never gunked up my blocks in that time.

I've had crap in my loop from both the UV-Dyelite and the D-Tek dyes; in fact, the D-Tek dye turned the copper in my blocks black. As a result I will never use any form of additives in my water except for the Biocide and have now ordered some UV reactive Feser tube.

This is good stuff for the next time you need any...It "Tracer-Line" you can get it at almost any auto parts store for $5-6 bux a ounce, a ounce is enough to leak test a cars cooling system...It only comes in blue that I know of...
I just add 2 or 3 drops to my loop for leak testing, it still lights it up pretty well...I have G11 blue in my loop to in these pic's..... ![]() ![]()

If it was good for your water cooling, why would they call it "dye"?
