Default I Need Help WCing My New Comp

First off i have spent several weeks now studying products intensively on random forums. my research is good for the PC part of it, but i need help on get the best WCing and saving money at the same time on WCing my comp. With that said here are my specs:

COOLER MASTER COSMOS 1000
EVGA nForce 780i SLI ATX Mobo
Antec 850W (Truepower Quattro)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 Yorkfield 2.5GHz
EVGA Nvidia 8800GTS (havn't decided if im gonna get 1 or 2 yet(wat do you recommend??))
CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB
Western Digital Raptor X 150GB 10000 RPM

!!!!!!!!!!!IMPORTANT SKIP THIS PARAGRAPH IF U DONT WISH TO HEAR ME RANT ON!!!!!!!!!!!
(Yes i know this is a sexy setup. has taken me several months of surfing Forums and reading every damn detail of wats wrong with wat and wat works together. I do accept checks if u want to pay me for staying up for 11 Boringly interesting hours reading forums one night just so i could post my final product on the internet.(yes i know that it isn't possible to be bored and interested in wat your reading at the same time but i have broken the barrier and achieved it.) anyways i still bet it isn't the best setup but i dont feel like spending more time on it so im moved on too cooling.)

WC products i am def. going to get:
Swiftech Apogee GTX CPU Block
Swiftech STEALTH GPU Block
Feser Tube Active UV Hose 1/2 Clear/UV Blue
Feser One UV Acid Green

I am looking to WC the cpu, gpu, and anything else that might need to be cooled. i am thinking about a single loop for now but i will upgrade in the future.

I am going for a 1/2 tube and fittings.!.!.

OK first off the cosmos has room and screws for a 3 120mm fan Rad. i have looked at the MCR320, and ThermalChill, and the new Rad by Fesser. I think those all fit the screw holes on the Cosmos but i am not sure. which one would the magic "Sweet Spot" between price and performance??

I am having problems finding fans for my Rad. I am looking for 120mm Blue Led UV fans that dont just look awesome but are really helpful for cooling the Rad. Please tell me a Specific product. (this is my weakest spot and i am not sure where too go here)(plus i dont know much about the dynamics of cooling the Rad)

I have looked at alot of pumps and pump reviews, and i have heard that if you have too fast of a water flow that your coolent cannot conduct as much heat but if you have too slow of water pressure on a single loop system that the water will already be really warm and actually heat up the GPU's. I know the Liang is a good pump but it is also pricey. im willing to get it though if it is the best option for me.

I think i am going to get a External Reservoir and mount it inside the Cosmos since it it one Big Ass Case and i think it will also look cool. any recomendations on which one i should get(perferably something that fits inside the Cosmos if it tickles ur fancy.)

Please Help!! i am in need of help!!

Thats totally wrong, the more flow that you can keep through your rad the better it will cool period...The more flow through your blocks the better they will cool...The reason for that is increased turbulence in the block and rad, the more the better, as long as you have a decent heat dump from the pump, and with common WC'ing pumps thats a non-issue...

The Apogee GTX has aluminum in it, as does the Stealth GPU block...You don't want aluminum on your loop period, you run the risk of galvanic corrosion which will it up your brass and copper parts..Galvanic Corrosion .

The Fuzion is about the best commercial block out I think..D-tek Fuzion V2..The all metal Stingers for custom..Stinger WB..

Get the D-5 vario pump, its about the best pump for average use...D-5

I'd just WC the CPU and GPU, you might want to throw the NB in to, if your NB doesn't run really hot I'd just use a HSF on it instead.Swifty NB HSF...

I like these Swifty 60 GPU blocks, they cool about as well as any, don't dump extra het into your loop and are universal fit on top of that.Swifty 60...Swifty 60 Ram Sinks

For the rad I'd use the PA.3 if you want to use lower then 47cfm fans, if you are going to use 47+ cfm fans, the GTX is by far the best I think..360 GTX Beats PA.3 Using 47cfm YL Fans....Martins HWlabs 480GTX Thermals...

I'll leave you some stuff to read and my cleaning and set-up PDF, its important to clean your new parts before you use them...Be sure to read all the stickies here to,there is a wealth of info in them...

Well... ira's in da house...

...no point in posting my opinions as you could not be in better hands, and most of what I have to say was adopted from ira-k's experience anyway.

Well Thank You......You've got quite a bit of WC'ing under your belt by now yourself.....Fun ain't it...

^^^^I forgot about the copper top for them...JT has the combo pretty cheap to..Apogee GTX CU..You can bow them also for little better performance....The anatomy of a 'bow..

yeah thanks IRA-K do u think u could put together a list of wat all you think i should get?

also you should look at DD's MC-TDX. People on Danger Den's (DD) forums says that that is a good block to get.

i see that you are from Germany too. i have always wanted to go there.

yeah i have you looked at Fessers new Rad, Fesser X-Changer Triple. i have heard from many people that it is a great Rad.

yeah i am going to go for the D5 i think. its worth it.

wat do you recommend for a GPU block? i dont know much about them.

The DD blocks are pretty good to, DD doesn't make junk, they never have...All the new blocks are more or less with-in a few C of each other anyway...I still like the Fuzion best for a commercial block...

Ok, Here we go...

..D-tek Fuzion V2

. GTX360....Or the 480 to pretty well future proof you for ever...

..Swifty 60...Swifty 60 Ram Sinks....

....DD 5 1/4" Bay Reservoir...Or just use a t-line...

....Radbox ..You can hang your rad on the back of your case on one of these....

...7/16x5/8".This is used on 1/2" barbs, it still flow well, fits the barbs tighter, less chance of leaks, and it is more compact....This for full 1/2"1/2x3/4"...Don't let the price fool you, its high grade tubing for cheap...

..Pentosin..Mix this at 10 or 11 to one with distilled..My whole coolant recipe is in that PDF I left you above...

..PT Nuke..2 drops of this for a biocide...

These are my favorite e-tailers, I've ordered from them all a lot...

..Jab-tech

..Petra's Tech Shop

..Sidewinders

..Danger Den

..SVC

..McMaster-Carr

The DangerDen blocks are quite good (my current rig is all DD) even the non MC version of the TDX does a good job.

Regarding GPU blocks; as Ira said, the Swiftech MCW-60 is a good core-only block; the DD Maze 4 or Maze 5 would also be a good choice; but if you want full cover, then go with DD or EK-waterblocks.

Oh and Petra's Tech FTW

cool thanks Ira and Rado. just for reference i am trying to get my temps below 40C. i know that is low but it is sooo necassary for me. haha. the Cosmos has an area for you to put a 3fan Rad. remember my specs. they play an important role in my WCing set up.

go look at this guys set up for the cosmos.
Cosmos 1000 Wcing set up

this guy also had a cool WCing set up. i like how he has the Res placed. i also like the lighting.

check those links out and tell me wat you think.
