Default Emptying loop for summer, question after the jump

Hey guys, (and this probably means ira-k first ) im emptying my loop for the summer holidays as im going back home, and cant carry this behemoth overseas now.
Unfortunately the movers are coming in a few hours and i forgot to buy some white vinegar and distilled water to flush my loop after emptying it, would storing it as is cause any problems?
In all reality i would prefer not emptying it but i dont really trust my liquid (Fluid XP) as from what i heard it causes buildup (moving on to Fesser 1 next year).
If i just empty the loop without cleaning it, would anything happen to the pump or blocks when it is in storage for a couple of months?

no, dr4gon. sorry to disappoint.

It wouldn't do so well. I guess since you can't get any distilled water, just rinse everything with tap water and dry everything very well and wrap it up. That way you you can clean off as much of the impurities of the water so there's no buildup or residue left anywhere.

As for the tubing, just throw it out and get some new lines when you set it back up again. Good luck.

No disappointment here, all help is welcome!
As i still have a bottle left i will probably be keeping my tubes until next year when i'll be changing to some Fesser ones, now whats left is actually shut it down and go back to my old laptop for the summer, which really sucks.
My real worry is my pump not having any buildup from this liquid inside, if i have time after all the packing i need to do i will follow your advice for the tap water.
Oh the summer of it all.

If you don't have any distilled I would just rinse it with tap water to, that is if you were using any kind of additives...When you get ready to fire it back up I would go ahead and just break it all back down and clean it well...You can just get to much crud growing in one in that amount of time not to clean it..

Just store it and clean that puppy up before you fire it up again.....I'd just re-tube it all then also...You might just want to break it all down into components now, clean them out as best you can, let them dry a little then put them in a card-board box...You have what, another 20 minutes or so to do all that...

There he is
i have 8 hours left really till the movers come, and still need to pack everything, its just a mess in the house right now.
I hate moving!
I havent used any additives just the Fluid XP in my loop, in the worst case that i dont have time to rinse it with tap water and dry it, if i empty it would it hurt any components?

Yeah I would rinse it out at least, that Fluid XP will leave a gummy film over everything...Might be a pain to get it all back out after it hardens, don't know that for sure, but I would sure think it would..

I hate moving with a purple passion....I always dread it so much I put it all off till the last second, then I have to do it, and it still sux...

7 hours remaining for the movers, its now 2am. I should really be playing TF2 all this time to get it out of my system for a while (installing on laptop as we speak, i'll need my fix over the summer)
