Bomar... if you do this man, holy ****. I will come over and help you build it if you'd like, I think I still have a ****load of tools left by my dad that deal with carpentry and machining. Would you kindly finish this before the summer is over?

I love bioshock
you do great design drawing

i think it would work if a lot of it was metal, and then the eye hole things are all acrylic hemispheres that are hollowed out. This is going to be a hard project.

Actually, that's what I was thinking about doing. I'll have my MCR220 rad up top and then I could put the res closer to the front. It'll look sweet.

<3 Dave. Wish I had known you had carpentry tools earlier. You gonna help me with a side window then!

Thanks.

I was thinking of having most of it as metal, but I just wondered about how the metal would affect the WC loop and the purity of the water. Plus, plastic is lightweight and durable, and isn't as expensive as using metal (I think).

It's definitely going to be a hard project, but I didn't come into this expecting it to be a quick job. As long as it's feasible from construction and expense standpoints, I'm in it for the long-run.

If you put it on top, though, you won't get any water on the top eyes which will make them not glow. I suggest you put it in the 5 1/4 inch drive area and have the water cover all the eyes.

I could fill the res all the way up, that way the water level reaches all the eyes.

Or just have it as a decoration-only reservoir on the top, and use a smaller micro reservoir or t-line as a fill point, and just keep the Bioshock decoration reservoir completely filled
