I've ordered all my WC parts from Petra's and Sidewinder Computers, so they should be arriving sometime next week.

dTek Fuzion v2
dTek DB-1 Compact pump
Swiftech MCR220 Quiet Rad with 4x Yate Loon D12SM
10' of Masterkleer 7/16", 5/8" tubing
10 Mini Hose clamps
Petra's PT Nuke
I have the cheap XSPC tubing and it doesn't seem to stain.....and I had black coolant. OK the tubing went a bit murky but I did have coolant in it for 7 months, but it cleaned off easily. However like Ira I replace all my tubing when I flush my loop.

Also, I would also advice the Laing DDC. It is an awesome performer and it honestly runs silent. I have mine on the base of my case with no special gel or vibration reducer and it is still silent.....and I mean, not a single buzz!

All of the pumps recommended are awesome anyways, so which ever one you decide to go with I am sure you will not be disappointing with. Good luck.

EDIT: I have just realised that you have already ordered everything. So it doesn't matter

I love these WC build threads because so much discussion goes on over the different parts, a noob can really learn a lot!

I am more interested in a "chip in the brain"-solution and a F@H client that runs on it. People could use the idle cycles of their brains to fold.

Sorry for the lack of updates, guys. Work has dried up around my parents' workplace, so I've been hectically trying to find another job before the summer ends so I can have some spending money in da bank.

I purchased a dome from the UK modellers I linked, and I've been waiting for that to come in the mail before I make any more decisions. I have to know what I'm working with as far as that is concerned before I can do anything else. In the meantime I'm setting up my WC system so that I can streamline the process when I get the reservoir set up. I've also been modding my case so I can actually SEE the internals of my case too. :P

More updates will come soon enough! Patience is a great virtue.

What is this patience you speak of? On a more serious note, what color acrylic dome did you order?

The dome is clear. After everything is cut and assembled, I'll be painting it with modeller's paint and giving it some texture with stuff used by model train builders for gravel, sand, dirt, etc. so that it won't be perfectly smooth.

Hey gotta say awsome idea. I actualy just bought some water dye from NAPA auto parts today and the color is exactly that yellow green you would want for big daddy. Ill post pics if you want but it was only 3.29 for a bottle and its really strong dye. Let me know if you wanna c it.

That sounds like it'll look really nice. You were gonna paint it yellow, right? Just make sure you get translucent paint.

Oh no, I'm not painting it yellow. I'm painting the outside as near to the same color/texture as the actual Big Daddy model, and then the fluid will be neon yellowish green for the eyes. The Big Daddy head will look like tarnished and weathered bronze.

EDIT: I also purchased the Laing D5 Vario pump instead of the db-1, just fyi.
