Just as a possibility, I've been thinking about watercooling my Xbox 360 a lot lately, and I'm keeping my options open to have this mod on my 360 instead of my PC, if I end up watercooling it. Just a possibility at this point, and a distant one at that, but I'm still entertaining it.

NEW UPDATE!

Despite the lack of activity in the thread, I haven't died! I've just had a lack of internet connectivity for quite a while.

In the meantime, the globe I ordered has arrived, and it is simply perfect. I have to purchase the other pieces of acrylic for the backplate and various other pieces for the mod, but after I get those bought and cut, I should be ready to assemble it (pics included).

I set up the WC loop tonight, matter of fact, and things went quite smoothly. The tubing was a little bit of a PITA to attach to the fittings and such, but that was the only hiccup I came across. Temps are looking very nice, and I have yet to test out the color with a UV light, but I'll do that and post pics as well.

Things are coming together quite nicely. Hopefully I should be able to finish it all by mid-August, planning for the unexpected. Stay tuned, guys. Things are really coming together!

Awesome! Glad to hear the WC set up went smoothly. Be back soon with some pics, I'd like to see the globe.

Also, I don't know if you already have most of this knowledge or not, but Syrillian has posted an excellent guide for acrylic here. Check it out.

Pics of the watercooling setup. Cables are a little messy atm, but that will be tidied eventually.

Icky icky icky. Unsightly mod attempts before I decided to go watercooling. That'll need to be cut out and I'll cover that up with a much more aesthetically appealing radgrill, although I have to make sure it fits, as I've read that the AC Ryan radgrills don't match up to the Swiftech rads too well.
