Same here

I'll be interested to see what kind of temps you get on the GTS360 as I will be using this to cool down my Quad.

Alright, here's what I'll do: cheap distilled + PT_Nuke + Feser Base

I'll stick to clear color this time since there's no window on the Cosmos S anyway. Might as well invest into LED fans for some pretty lights through the meshes.

Your better off not having all those dyes in your coolant anyway....Have you ever tried PT Nuke yet? It just takes a couple of drops in your loop for a biocide, its copper based and cheap...PT Nuke.

I've been using it since I touched WC.

Feser Base isn't a dye, it's just ethylene glycol, supposed to prevent corrosion over time: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/febafbcobl.html

It's what they use in Feser F1. Distilled + that = cheap Feser F1.

Its good to run a little anti-freeze for corrosion, it brings your pH up to more of a base, when your below 7 the coolants acidity can cause corrosion...Distilled is supposed to be a 7, most of it I tested can be from a 6-6.6 pH....That said I've seen a lot of guys just run straight distilled with NP, its just fun to play with pH strips......

Yeah Man I love PT Nuke, never even have had a hint of crud in my loop since i started using it...

The Pentosin 11 is a good anti-corrosive to add with PT-Nuke and distilled. It's also UV, woo!

Death.

At this point it's only good as a project case, so either it gets shoved into that little corner in the garage or somebody can buy it for a low price. I won't offer any free shipping for this thing lol.

Hmmm. Now you're confusing me.

Blue won't quite fit the Cosmos S, so if I do end up with Pentosin, I'm gonna get the G12. Now the question is, G12 or Feser Base?

Glad I could assist in the confusing. When I build my next rig, I'm going to be using G11/G12. I've yet to decide what color scheme I want for the CM690 it's going in.

It seems to me that you'd be using less Feser Base per part water than you would be with Pentosin (if my very quick math is correct?), so you might want to consider that.

Hmmm you're right. The 50mL Feser Base is good enough to mix with 2L of distilled giving me a total of 2.05L solution, while Petra recommends 10% Pentosin, meaning the 120mL bottle would last me for only 1.2L solution.

But then the Pentosin is half as expensive so it's actually a bit better value. I guess I'll go with the G12.
