Thanks. I'm glad how a single cheap 360mm is holding up with my quad. If it can handle this, there won't be a problem with new chips since they're just getting cooler and cooler.

Back then I did GPU too because obviously the 8800GTX was and still is physically a hot card, but that didn't worked out well. In fact nothing worked well in that Stacker, but that's what I get when I only spend so little on an old case. Then I came to realize how pointless GPU watercooling is. I mean, GPUs are designed to be able to operate perfectly at even over 90C, and I was being chicken at 80C with the stock cooler. Now that I quitted GPU watercooling, everything is so much simpler.

I designed this loop for easy upgrading in the future. On the second pic you can see how everything came from the front of the case. That tubing spanning across the whole area is the fill port, and the port is held by a clip which I can take off easily and refill or drain. Say I need to replace the whole motherboard, I only need to unmount the CPU block and unclip the fill port and simply swing them out towards the front, and then I'd have all the space I need to do the work.

And I must say, the Cosmos S is the most complete case I've ever seen. Every time I bump into some problem, I can work around it easily. For example, the 8-pin CPU power cord wasn't long enough to reach all the way to the top, and I looked into the accessories box and found an 8-pin extension cord. Cable management is also very simple, there are lots of holes around the motherboard and PSU where you can poke cables in and out, you'll have to be a knob to make a cable mess with this case. Also, the 5.25" bays are very convenient, it's all just slide, lock (with those blue clips), and screw. What I like best are the side panels. Unlike conventional side panels, they don't need screws or anything. Just lift up the little tab on the back and they'll pop out and just press the panel towards the case to lock, it's all very easy. Then there's the interior space. This thing is massive, all my hardwares, everything inside and this case still looks just like when i first brought it out of the box, with nothing sticking out. Finally, there's the exterior design. Not only does it look great IMO, but there are no sharp edges or anything that can make you bleed. The bars on top and bottom also makes it very easy to carry despite the heavy weight with everything I've put into it, and they add to the funkiness of the design.

Consider it a review of the Cosmos S. At first I thought it's a bit wasteful to spend over $200 on a case, but just when I started working with it, I know it's worth every penny.

Hey its a nice case, it will last for years if you take care of it, so really $200 bux isn't that much if you really like it....I'm going to go ahead and book mark this thread in case anyone else asks about it for WC'ing...Looks like a real nice one to me...

Now if you ever want to get a real classy rig like mine just go look behind you shed and see if you have a old rusty grinder bench, then cut some yellow pine 1x12" to size and make some shelfs for it...Instant Cooool...

Unbelievably good. I had the stacker 830, the thermaltake armor, antec 900, silverstone TJ09 (way overhyped for air cooling...) and others
