Default Air Vs Water (Phenom 9850BE)

I just did my very first watercooling set up. I'm fairly happy with how it went. My case obviously was never meant for watercooling so I just mounted everything externally.

I wanted to ask do my temps look right to you guys. By that I mean, should I have gotten colder load temps than this? Or do you reckon this is a typical delta temp before and after?

On stock air I was getting:
Idle: 42 Celsius.
Load: 53 celsius.

Now with water I'm getting:
Idle: 34 celsius.
Load: 44 celsius.

Thanks for any comments.

I believe they are all out, removed all visible bubbles, and shook all the components. I let it run with the reservoir in an elevated position for 4 hours. I can't see any micro bubbles in the line at all, I'm pretty sure it's clear, hope so anyway

I'll give the reseat a go, to see if there's is any difference.

Do you think these temps are kinda high?

i would have though the drop would have been slightly larger with going from a stock HSF to water..but then again it is a kit..so that could explain it..anywho what size is the rad and do you know the specs of the pump?

room ambient temps are 23 celsius at the moment and load/idle temps are same as listed in original post at present.
The rad is a 120.2 type rad (MCR220), the pump is a swiftech mcp655-B, this is a fairly strong pump, 50psi rated.

I've noticed over the past few weeks that the stock amd cooler is actually a pretty strong cooler. I tried a akasa revo and temps were higher than stock. I reseated multiple times and temps were similar each time.

To get a comparison, By-Tor what kind of temps are you getting with your water cooler by the way? what voltage are you running at?
