The rad is not hot, but its not cold either. I'm using the "pull" method, if that does anything. Fans are Panaflo, not sure on the cfm, but at least 88cfm. they are running @ max speed
Getting about 44c Idle on 3.6Ghz @ 1.36v....Does the fact that the VID is 1.2125 matter? since the delta of volt is higher?

Try turning the mounting screws more? My idles were rather high at first with my fuzion as well. But I then tightened the screws so much that the mounting plate is now bending a little bit, And I'm getting 25-31C idle in a 18C ambient room.

hm...maybe if i let this system run overnight...would that help in some degree? sort of 'stabilizing' the loop?

MM...I will be ordering more tubing, coolant, and such...I'm gonna take the rad away from the case, just standing free on the ground...maybe that'll do something...
Yea...mine's cpu only and its pretty fiery.. *edit* I wanted to cool the 4870 as well..but @ this rate...

Ok. The system was installed in my sig rig for about a month. For the first few days the temps were high and i was cursing my water cooling stupidity. I tightened the Fuzion all the way down (i thought i would break the MB, i tightened it so much). I used Ceramique as my TIM, and that took a little while to cure. And I ran it for about 10 minutes with the fill port (on the res) open to allow air to escape. Once i did those things my temps were at 32 or so, with an ambient of around 78 degrees.
That waterfall res actually has very good flow. I did find that i need to fill up way more water than i thought it would need to have the flow properly. I think i put almost a gallon of distilled water in it. The only difference is I ran the rad with all 6 fans in push / pull rather than just three. When one fan broke, I did notice a 2 degree increase in temps. So, it may be that you need those extra fans. I am glad to see you got everything in one piece. Let me know if you have any questions. I will subscribe to this, to help as much as i can.

There have been occassions that I needed to re-mount the block 6-7 times to get it right. Not a whole lotta fun, but a necessity sometimes.
Are you certain that your pump is operating within its parameters? Check and verify: Liquid-flow Air-flow Mounting Perhaps try another TIM, or varying types of applications (although only 1 type is recommended depending upon core-type) ![]()

With the morning "cool" air hitting this, its @ 37/38/35/35, which I would be HAPPY if this can stay maybe 24/7 ^^. But using Coretemp, this temp sometimes goes to 40/42/38/38 for like a second, then comes back to this. Could that be due to an improper mount?
I will try running the Rad away from the case like Mmansueto did. Maybe that would help more? And Whats the good place where I can buy fan cable extenders? seems like I would need a bunch xD
