I know for a fact that if you were to mount the radiator in another place where you had more air for it to grab hold of you would lower your temps significantly. I have two 3870x2 in my case and the top one use to run load at 45c...now its 80c since the newer second card blocks the air inlet area. This reduction of available air is unavoidable for me...w/c blocks would solve my problem. But, your problem is much easier...you need only place your radiator so that both sides of the inlet & out areas have a minimum of 6inchs of clearance. The more clearance the better as the convected air needs both flow in & out of the radiator. Even if you have sufficient flow without any kinks you should have ample space to allow the radiator to " RADIATE " ~!!! I can't stress that enough... From an engineering stand-point it amazes me that people put their radiators atop of the pc thinking that it looks cool when it actually makes it hotter than it would be if properly placed elsewhere. It does not have to be placed vertically, horizontally would suffice just it needs room to breath. ![]()

i placed mine (the system was mine before i sold it to OP) and i had the rad about 1 foot away from the rear of the case. I was getting at least 10-15 degrees cooler than the OP temps.
