My concern is the Mounting Process...I'm thinking I should try mounting it the "standard" way. The way I'm trying now with the Backing Plate can maybe make it "uneven". I'll try remounting a dozen more times. I got 2 tubes of mx-2 just in case

Yeah just keep playing with your mounts, when you get one that seems to lower it quite a bit, let it burn in for a few days and see how it does...Keep even pressure on your block all the way around, criss-cross when you tighten them down...

Should I try cleaning the Rad itself? Like External part of the rad? Maybe the water isn't getting "cooled" enough by the rad...but with 6 panaflo in pull/push, I think it should be better...

I doubt that's the problem sounds like you just need to work on getting your block mounted properly. Even if that rad wasn't the cleanest in the world it still shouldn't be running that hot. Good Luck

i agree. try remounting. i did not use any backing plate when i mounted it, just the screws tht came with the block.

Well with the shipping out of my mind, I can now focus on this mroe *cross fingers for no UPS blunder again*

As of right now, 39c idle in 22c ambient I'm gonna be remounting the crap out of this today

*my VID is 1.2125 running 3.6Ghz @ 1.352v on CPU-Z (1.36v BIOS)
