Default loop is too HOT!!

Well well well...I bought off Mmansueto's WC gear and decided to put it on my rig

After deciding what to do with it, I decided to just simply have a "Pull" approach to the PA120.3 on top of my cosmos, as such

The res is the "waterfall" reservoir from CD, (also from Mmansueto*) and it kinda bubbles like this:

As for the CPU Block, I used the TRUE backplate, and mounted it using the "ghetto" pro-mount-ish way of mounting the block.

Now...my temps shot up.... its ~48 idle....and I wouldn't dare seeing what the temps would be under load....

My ambient is about 23-25c. There's DEFINITELY something wrong...could it be the mounting? Too much TIM?

Any help will be appreciated

Oh and this is a "practice" loop...I figured I need to cut this case a BUNCH to make it look like I wanted it...so please don't comment on how the loop is looking nor how messy it is....Thanks

The loop order is this:
Pump>Rad>CPU>Res>Pump

Did you tilt your case around to work the air out of it? If you can take your rad loose and shake it to get all the air out..

Have you tried any re-mounts yet? When you take your block off look and see if it looks like its making a good even contact...Make sure a cap or something on the mobo is keeping the block from making good contact...

I didnt buy the quad nozzle :/

After remount of CPU block, the temps are 39~ idle now. 40/40/37/38 Hm...10c drop after one remount...I'm gonna try out more stuff

it was my computer resetting the bios...@ stock, it was ~40 idle...

I'm running 3.6Ghz at 1.36v, which I don't think is a high voltage...

What else can I try to do to bring down the temps?
Idling at 45c (46/46/44/43)

Well, I see a kink. Where the liquid flows into the bottom reservoir. The tube is bent too heavily and has collapsed. This sounds like a mounting problem, the kink may cause a little bit of bad temperatures, but nothing this drastic1

And it look s like you have one of those waterfall reservoirs? I dont know anything about them, how are they for flow?

Is the rad hot? If it is, then turn up the fans (add more). Other than that it might just need some time to settle. :\
