I am sure it has been done. I do not think it would be worth it. It would evaporate much quicker than H2O and I don't think the performance gain would warrant it.\

It is so bad for rubber, dries it out, not sure if it is a good idea. Also, the low flash point and the possibility of a micro leak, vapor but no liquid, with hot components could end badly.

I believe it would be hard on pumps & acrylic res's if ran in your loop as a permanent coolant.

it's not the evaporation point that's important, but rather the thermal conductivity and the heat capacity of the fluid

Yeah, it'll slowly kill your tubing, most likely.

All those cooling fluids (FeserOne and whatever) you can buy are all identical to the antifreeze used in cars, just with a little bit of anti-toxin added to make it a bit safer if some dumb kid swallows it.
