would a GTX480 be enough for a Q6600 and (2) 8800GTS in the same loop?

If you have good fans blowing on it, yes.

That's only two blocks...I don't think that any decent pump would have a problem with that.

Oh yeah, that's probably something like a 300 Watt heat load, and you can get down to a nice cold 5C delta with just medium speed yates.
Should be no problem...2000RPM 38mm fans would get you down near 3 degrees. ![]()

Im still getting my parts list together. Im planning on using a Swiftech MCP655 for the pump. Either a Swiftech Apogee GTX or a D-TEK FuZion v2 for the CPU block. For the GPU's im planning on a pair of EK full coverage blocks. For the fans i was planning a push-pull config using (8) Yate Loon's (D12SM-12) Also i plan on making a shroud for the fans. Will this config be to much of a load for the pump or to much heat for one rad?

This is very similar to the setup that I'm building.
__________________Your radiator should definitely be able to handle the heat with all of those fans. However, instead of one 480 rad, I'm going with two 240 rads. This way, I can cool the CPU, then cool the water before it goes back into the video cards. (This is stressful on the pump however) The pump you listed is great. I'm going with the D5 vario for my setup, but I've heard that the MCP655 is essentially the same thing.

The D5 vario or MCP655 are the same thing. Just avoid the "MCP655-B" or "Basic" model that isn't variable....it is stuck at setting 4.
Mediums in push pull probably gets it up to Ultra Kaze 2000RPM fan level, so even with 400 watts of heat you'd still be doing just fine. You can check the flow rates out in the estimator, most of those should be in there. If you can maintain over 1.0 GPM it'll be ok, 1.5 is great.

Going to be doing the same thing here, only instead of SLI its 2 of these super hot 4870s, a quad at 3.8, and instead of a 480 its a 360. Sorry to thread jack, but think I'd be okay?
