Default Fan Shrouds?

Instead of spending the money to buy some 38mm fans and gutting them, would this work?

on 120mm fans - it would work.

Question is - would those work on a rad that takes more then one fan like my GTX 360....

By-Tor said he tried some on a 240 or 360 rad and they were a pain, I guess they don't fit right in the middles and it's a pain to get them to fit...

I'm testing the TFC ones right now. Not sure what they'll end up costing, but they are really nice and come with LEDs if you like that sort of thing. The thing I really like about them is they are completely universal for any 120mm fan and you can also stack them for double thickness. One section is about 31mm in depth.

I should have some results to share in a week or so.

I'm working a whole bunch of testing in push vs pull vs push/shroud vs pull/shroud and a few other whacky ideas that have been bothering me.

Those are sexy martin....

sledgehammer1990,

Those shrouds work great if your using them on a single 120mm rad, but they are wider at the base than a 120mm fan so they are a really ##%&*& to get on even if you can. I had to cut mine down a little and then they had small openings around the edges from them pushing on the next one.

Ira,
Do you still have that link to those cheap 120mmx38mm fans you sent me? I deleted it before I saved it.

This is my rig last year with those shrouds on a Swiftech 220 rad. The other side had alot of openings from the pressure of them pushing at eachother. Like I said they worked great on a single 120 rad.

Checking them out. I see they don't come out until the 25th of July. Love the web page when it loads. Also go to the Red, Green, Blue colors at the bottom. Lol.

I'm gonna wait for what kind of results Martin gives, Those look sick and would go great with my Blue and Orange/Red loops.

Did you mean these fans?
