Was curious to know if this is good:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835108105

A lot of people have recommended buying swiftech stuff - I have been offered a storm v2 for 30 bucks aswell so...

I've heard that the Swiftech kits are actually OK. However, many people will warn you against buying kits like that - they're usually full of cheap components. Is your budget ~$200?

Some people say it's great, others have it leak on them like crazy due to a bad connection between the Pump and CPU block.

So.. I'd go with something else

EDIT: This would be much better. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835108076

It's alright, nothing stunning and definitely not the full or anywhere near full potential of water cooling. It's just simply mediocre. A custom setup would be the way to go.

I was suggested this from Sergery
I would suggest something like
pump: D5 vario or DDC3.1 w/ top
Rad: Swifty 320
Res: Swifty micro (lots of options here, pick what you think will look the nicest in your case)
Tubing: 10ftmasterkleer 7/16" ID
additives: either swifty green all in one OR ptnuke and pentosin (other options for this second component too)
Fans: 3x or 6x depending on rad mountingYate loon High speed
maybe a fan controller: SunBeam (also comes in silver)

and a storm block...

Good? Suggestions?

If you get a new block, definitely check out the D-Tek Fusion V2. It blows away other blocks and is in the same price range as other high performance blocks.

From the swiftech website "The improvement is of the order of 1°C per 100 Watts dissipated across the range of tested flow rates."

as far as mounting, there are plenty of options. Outside the case should give the best temps though. Cruise our case forum and water cooling forum for more pics. here is an example:

Kits are the devil. Look through the watercooling section and find an example of a custom loop. They are generally pretty similar to eachother.

Just grab yourself a decent rad (cpu only loop? 240 is fine. more is more), a quality pump (d5 vario for example, are others, but I'm drawing a blank), the best cpu/gpu block(s) you can afford, some tubing, a res or a tline, and run with it.

Wheres Ira-K, hes always good for some pastage.

Just got mine and its pretty good.I think im gonna add a second Rad though.QAnd believe me its not a bad setup for $135.The pump is solid i dont know why some are leaking. But all you have to do is check the screws to make sure they nice and tight.I have a BIP im gonna get some 3/8 barb and see how much a second rad will lower load temps
