I have been looking into a dual color WC system. So far I have come up with one loop having UV Blue used on the CPU for Intel, and the other loop will have a UV Red Dye.
Is it better to get clear coolant and dyes? Or buy some precolored coolant? Also, why does the red always look orange or pink? Will I be able to make it darker with more dye drops? Ex: Coolant UV Red Dye UV Blue Dye Or just get these: Pre Colored UV Red Pre Colored UV Blue

I personally do not use dyes anymore; each dye I've used has over time faded and/or separated out and stained the tubing.
IMO colored UV reactive tubing looks a lot better and glows a lot more than dyes do. I just installed the RED Feser tube in my rig and I love it ![]() In terms of coolant I always use pure distilled H2O with a few drops of Biocide; I don't like having more additives than what is absolutely necessary.

Well, Im off to work and will be back later, but I want to learn more about this. I was considering colored tubing. How is the water distilled and where can I get Biocide?

Petra's Tech Shop carries the Biocide (PT_Nuke)
Distilled water is available at nearly every grocery store; the last gallon jug I got was $0.95

I tried Fluid XP, Primochill, Distilled water with Swiftech green die (Hydrix), Distilled water with Feser UV dyes and finally Feser UV dyes precolored.
__________________After a few month the dyes is staying on a tube like a stain and you can find solid residue in your pump, res and so on. My last attempt is Feser UV dye precolored. I tryed blue UV and Green and this time I could reuse all my tubing from my previous rig to my new one. No stain, no residue, I even kept the liquid because it was still so clean. Also it's still UV reactive. I agree that UV tubes is nice but I love to see the liquid going through my UV reservoirs. Stay away from Fluid XP, I would not recommand it to my worst ennemy... Primochill is ok but it takes ages to breed, billions of bubbles for weeks! It takes time with feser as well but it's more a matter of hours or maximum 2 days. My two cents .

anyone know what black tubing looks like? Suggestions on that. I wanted orange, but dont want to dye my water, would prefer tubing being colored, but I can not for the life of me fins 1/2" oragne tubes so I was looking at just black then.
