well i actually just looked at the [Project] Homewrecker thread, and now i'm pissed cuz that looks so killer awesome compared 2 mine
__________________ but i have 2 keep telling myself that mine is nowhere near done yet and it'll look nice too... when it's done.been a few stages of this WC experiment. here's the b4 pics... ![]() ![]() here's the 1st attempt with a Apogee GTX cpu block, XSPC passive res and TT (pos) 120mm bay rad... ![]() ![]() and attempt 2 with a TFC XChanger 360 Rad instead of the TT rad... ![]() and the 3rd (and nowhere near final) attempt. this time with a custom stainless res, Swifty MCP-655b pump, 2 TFC 360 Rads, 6 SilenX ~70CFM blue LED fans, Swifty Apgoee GTX CPU block, Swifty MCW60 GPU block (and ramsinks that keep falling off), 2x Swifty MCW30 NB/SB blocks, 2x Koolance MVR-40 mosfet/vreg cooling blocks, and a pair of OCZ FlexXLC II DDR2-1150 mem sticks... does any1 else have a full mobo AND ram WC setup? i'd like 2 c 'em and take notes if i could.

One word of advice: Watch yourself with those splits. From the look of it, you've only got 1 pump running all that fluid through all those y splits. Makes for a lot of restriction.
Cool looking though. Must be a pain in the ass to remove anything from your mobo though. =P Might want to look into either going with 2 complete loops or getting another pump to add inline (maybe right before or after one of your rads?). And make sure you don't get the b model 655 next time. =P

yes, i know, the "b" model -
__________________ - 1day...but the flow is actually quite well, i think. looking in my 12" tall res, i have a 6" piece of pipe on the intake side and it shoots a couple inches up out of that. i know i'll prolly need another pump or 2 seperate loops, but that comes n time. as 4 the splits, it's all half inch tubing, except after the splits, where 1 side necks down 2 3/8's tubing and the other side hits a 4-way OCZ splitter n2 1/8 x4 tubing. i did the area calc's of all these different sizes of tubing and the 4x 1/8 tubing plus the 3/8's tube is just bigger than the half inch tube area, so it should flow about the same. it's nowhere near done yet and i'm thinking next time 2 put the splits on the outside of the case n back, 4 a cleaner look on the inside. or possible do a 2-loop setup with my "b" pump running the mobo blocks and ram blocks in series instead of parallel like now and having an new vario pump run the cpu/gpu. or i dunno :/ all i do know is that this was thrown 2gether late last night after a week of having it out of commission cuz the vreg wc blocks were shorting something out and causing it 2 not power on at all. so i'm just glad it's up and running, the final details 2 the projects will add alot of wire/tube management and some bright shiny things too. oh, and i'm glad 2 say that my temps r siiiiiiiic - gpu=31°C idle, cpu=30°C, mobo=31°C, ram=32°C (temp probe at base of ram slots). i just love looking at my temp board and c'ing everything within a degree of each other at idle ![]()

so i got 2 the lighting this weekend. just basically shortened and sleeved (in blue UV sleeving) the wires on the ends of the CCFL's and mount 'em and their inverter boxes. here's how i started...
__________________![]() here i marked 1 wire as a reference, did it on all the CCFL's just n case there was a polarity issue... ![]() these next few i was actually lengthening them cuz i wanted 2 put all the inverter boxes n 1 spot on the side of my case... ![]() ![]() ![]() here's what the end result was - shortened wires - found out that the longer the wires from the inverter 2 the CCFL's, the less the bulbs light up ![]() ![]() now 4 the light show ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 day when i shut my comp down 2 re-run the loop and finalize my rad box i'll manage the wires maybe ![]()

thx guys. i wasn't all 2 sure on how best 2 run the loop cuz i figured cooling all that on 1 pass would bring the water temp up way 2 high. so i went the the cpu/gpu then rad1 then mobo/ram the rad2... means extra tubes, but who cares, i'm not air cooling

Do you plan on getting the copper top for the GTX? Galvanic corrosion scares me

i'd love 2 if i can find the damned thing. but i took the block apart when i put it back 2gether on this 3rd attempt and nothing seems 2 b amiss with the plated aluminum top or the other copper components.
