Better than the kits I previously posted.

Pump $85
Radiator $57
Tubing 10Ft should be good
CPU_Block
$65
Biocide $3
Coolant $5
Fans $30 although the Yates loons are decent and about half the cost.

All in all about $270.

Worm drives clamps from the local autoparts store, or zipties, whichever you prefer. This is supposing you will use a T-line for filling an bleeding, they can be picked up at the local Home Depot.

I've heard that kits are good and kits are bad, mainly bad, but I did have a look on the Swiftech as I have heard good things from them--are y'all sure I shouldn't buy seperate parts?

One guy here seems skeptical...here, if someone could help me along with parts then I'll compare it to a kit and see the disadvantages to both...

Thank you everyone for help...I think I'll start coming here more often, hopefully giving the help.

Ok, I'm going to post a watercooling set with parts and all tommorow, and if someone could help me with what's wrong, etc. that would be GREAT!

Thanks again!

Thats a good thread for you to read, Read ALOT about this subject and try to just learn the basics as they are reinforced like crazy
No need to go after DD, he's building a bong and a self made CPU cooler, much respect is deserved. IMO he has just seen us bash the kits so much he is of the opinion they are all junk, which is not quite true, some are okay. It is just normally better to build it yourself.

yeah im in the middle of a WC build thats why its not on my system...plus my gaming rig got stolen...im still trying to recover from it. anyway ive been reading on here nonstop for the last 6 months and ive been chatting with a few oldschoolers on here, I know the blocks are good but dont the rads have aluminum in them? or maby im confused but I do know that ive only heard of 1 or 2 kits that are worth a crap. i think you get "more bang for your buck" if you do the parting yourself.

Come on guy someone has to back me up here.

oh and the petras kits are just over 200 for the most part. not too far out of your price range.

The swiftech H20-220 is not aluminum and in fact from some reading it uses a DDC 3.1 pump which can be modded into a DDC 3.2, put a top on it and it is a great pump. It also uses a siftech Apogee CPU block GT or GTX I forget, again not a bad block. You can literally break this kit apart, change a few things and presto, it is better.

To be honest the Petras kit will trounce the Swiftech though.

Lol its what the site is for

But really kits are bad from bad makers.

Good ones come from the makers that we buy their parts to put in the custom water loops..

Here ill build you a great cheap one from jab tech...

http://www.jab-tech.com/D-tek-FuZion...k-pr-3667.html
great water block for quad cores 50

http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCP...p-pr-2982.html
Great pump...one used in all swiftech kits and most custom ones 70-80

http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCR...k-pr-3199.html
Another swiftech product. Radiator 40

http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCR...o-pr-3093.html
Reservoir, where u fill the liquid...20

Misc tubing and clamps will run you about 20-30 and if you need fans you gotta buy em unless you have some sitting around

I cannot tell is that pump the Vario version or not. If nt probably better to get the one I posted as it has better flow. The Vario on 4 is like the B model. Then it goed to 5.
