That unit sucks. Aircooling with some low speed fans will provide MUCH better temperatures.

The V1 is not very good, it is an ultra quiet solution, with little performance.

The XT is still very quiet, looks great I have to say. Will cost you a fair bit. The performance isn't too bad though not great compared with custom kits.

I would say you should shop around and look for cheap components with good performance. I put together my first WC kit not long ago, and it's easier than you think.

If you want to know anything about a specific component be sure to ask, someone will know if it's any good or not.

-Okay first of all what are you trying to cool? CPU, GPU/s, both? Zalmans are great products and they pride themselves on quiet computing solutions/merchandise. With saying that you have to take with it that these will not provide you with they best performance out there, because honestly that's not Zalman's biggest concern. Most of their systems use very weak pumps, 300/L an hour or something around there compared to the higher end pumps that put out like 1,200L an hour.
--Secondly, the majority will agree with me when I say that custom made watercooling systems is the way to go. This way you can choose how strong the pump/radiator you want for your needs, and also this way makes it very, extremly easy to upgrade. The Reserator will only cool your cpu, and you will not be able to cool anything else because of the very weak pump/mediocre radiator that it's equipped with. I have no clue what your level of knowledge is with watercooling, personally I'm still learning myself. But custom making your system with buying your own equipment will be cheaper and more upgradable in the long run.

Companies to look for: D-Tek(CPU Blocks), EK, Freser 1/2"(Great Tubing), D5 Vario Pump (This thing will last you through all of your upgrades), Black Ice Radiators(Many sizes for your needs and for further upgrading).

There are many WCing experts lurkin around Overclock.net and would give you much more information. But I hope the little I gave helped.

Another thing to keep in mind with the Zalman is that the body of the reserator is aluminum and some of their blocks have aluminum tops; this combined with the copper bases in a WC loop can lead to corrosion issues.

The zalman water cooling products are just terrible, just don't go there. Get yourself a real radiator and some low speed fans and you'll be much happier and better off.

Most of the system can be installed externally, i.e. Radiator/Reservoir/Pump. So I dont see to much of a problem.
