Here's what i'm thinking for the cooling system... Loop runs as follows: 1. Res. --> Pump 2. Pump --> CPU Block 3. CPU Block --> single 120mm rad 4. Single Rad --> GPU Block 5. GPU Block --> 240mm Rad (through temp sensor) 5. 240mm Rad --> Res. Does this look ok? I'm forced to keep the CPU Rad inside on the rear fan because of space and put the dual 240 on the back with a radbox. So I should have roughly triple the cooling power I had before because i'm cooling the CPU and GPU by themselves....right?? lol I mean, the way it's setup now, the CPU is adding heat to the water and then going to the GPU. If anything, I guess I should have put the GPU first seeing how that thing is getting hotter than the CPU. Hopefully it'll all work out soon ![]() Thanks for everyone's suggestions and help. I'll keep updating as the project progresses.

lol, actually, my gpu never gets hotter than my cpu under load. gpu goes from 30 idle - 36 load, cpu ranges from 30 idle - 41 load. and that's with my cpu right b4 my gpu n the loop. my loop goes like this...

Ah well you've got twice the cooling power that i'd have with my new setup. Would my idea still be feasible and actually work? lol

Spliting results in massive loss of flow pressure.

I'm not splitting though.
__________________I'm just cooling the coolant after it leaves the cpu then it goes directly to the GPU and to the 240mm rad, then back to the res. Res > Pump > CPU > 120mm Rad > GPU > 240mm Rad > Res Unless that was directed at eRazor's post?

splitting loses pressure if u split a certain size line into 2 or more of the same size line. however, if u split it n2 2 lesser lines that add up 2 the same or slightly less than the original line u'll still have roughly the same pressure and flow rate. mine, 4 instance, goes from half inch down 2 3/8's inch on 1 side and 4x 1/8 inch on the ram side and if u add up the cross section area, u come up with i believe just over the area of a half inch line.
__________________but no, i'd run the loop just like how u mentioned and c what happens, it'll most likely b enough. ![]()

Update:
Found out I ordered the wrong MoBo! Re-ordered the correct MoBo, getting it today... Will start a new thread for the 'improved' version of this build. I've got the 240mm rad mounted on the swiftech radbox with (2) 120mm variable speed fans. Inside, i've still got the 120mm rad mounted to the rear fan for increased cooling capacity. Should be starting tomorrow..
