I was using this air conditioner but we had an issue with water being backed up, so we made an attempt to drill through the back corner to have a drain for the water. Turns out the copper coil is right on the back corner, horrible place to put it in my opinion but then again we should have checked first.
__________________anyway, the coil was punctured and all the inside cooling chemicals escaped. My question is, are there parts within an air conditioner to use in a WC loop? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....ci_sku=8635765

The condenser type radiators isn't very good for PC watercooling.
However, that broken AC can be fixed by patching the line and refilling the coolant. You can also convert it to a phase change unit.

Phase cooling usually provides -10C to -60C load temps.

yes i myself have some experience in metal working, but since this seems like a serious issue and i really appreciate your telling me this, i have relatives that have intermediate experience with this stuff.

All in all, id like an opinion on whether or not it would be a good choice to make an attempt to proceed. I don't want anything thats extremely unstable, but potentially unstable is different as long as certain precaution is taken. Right now, along with the air conditioner I have a couple hundred bucks I'm willing to spend. I heard these units are quite expensive to accumulate the materials..
