b model $89.95

vario model $104.95

so only 15 bux more, i think i bought mine 4 79.95... actually, i remember, they didn't even have the vario abailable at the time i bought mine and of course, i didn't shop around cuz i didn't even know of all those other sites

that place is usually more expensive than others, but they do have a huge instock selection of all kinds of crap. plus the best thing is usually n every order they'll "forget" 2 pack an item or pack a completely different item and they never ask 4 it back after they send me the right stuff. so i got all sorts of extra goodies that prolly total around 50 bux now

I hate that feeling! How does the GTX480 and the PA120.3 compare? Ira?

The GTX spanks it with 47+ cfm fans..

This is a 360GTX to a PA.3 here...360 GTX Beats PA.3 w/47cfm Fans

This is Martins testing comparing a 480 to a PA.3....HWlabs 480GTX thermals-Martin

This is a prototype Martin tested.TFC 480ER Radiator Test Results- Martin..Its a 480 TFC heads up to a 480 GTX..It performs better with under 80cfm fans then a GTX, GTX is still King of the rad pile at 80+ cfm...

They have the TFC 360 version here at DD...TFC X-Changer 360.

Hmmm...so if I'm going to be running scythe fans in that 80CFM range, I can save a bunch of money and go with GTX rads rather than the much more expensive PA rads. I'm glad I asked that question

I would, you can get a 480 for the cost of a PA.3 and have a lot better performance with your fans...I've had my 480 for about a year now, its the best cooling rad I've ever had, good stuff...

They don't seem loud to me at all, I have 8 on the rad and another 4 or 5 blowing on other things, plus another 3 or 4 smaller fans...Some people think they are loud, I'm just used to them, they never did bother me..Having decent cfm rad fans is one of the easiest ways to get better temp's..

These are mostly what I use.115cfm Pana..These would make decent rad fans.86cfm Pana..I personally wouldn't go any smaller then that 86 cfm Pana on any rad, and the 115cfm are a lot better...The 120x38mm fans have a higher static pressure and scavenge are through a rad better...

I've been trying for a while now to get used to the 141cfm 3 blade Delta fans..Trip Blade 141cfm Delta..They have a ton of pressure, they just have a little of that Delta whine to them, don't know if I'll ever get used to them, sure hope I can......I bet I could almost pull down to ambient on my rad out temp's with them in a push-pull..
