I've got the space, I've got the power, I've also got enough heat to make a sheep horny. I've gone water once, and it was...ok, I didn't keep it around for long, sold it off, went back to air...now I'm ready to go back to water. This time hopefully for a while.
What I've got right now: Rocketfish case - plenty big for the dual loop I've got planned...I think. Asus Rampage Formula 2 x VisionTek 4870 in CF (this is the only part that may change as I may go with a tri-fire configuration with a 4870x2) 4x1GB G.Skill HZ's Intel Q6600 Other stuff that doesn't much matter. The CPU loop. Dtek Fuzion V2 + quad insert $59.99 + $3.99 Swifty MCP655 Vario $84.99 Swifty MCRES Micro $19.99 Thermochill PA120.3 + 3x120x38 Scythe Kaze shrouded $129.99 + $?? The GPU's loop. 2x EK4870 full cover $111.95 Swifty MCP655 Vario $84.99 Swify MCRES Micro $19.99 Thermochill PA120.3 + 3x120x38 Scythe Kaze shrouded $129.99 +$?? All told this is one mucho expensivo projecto, and probably by the time I get all the parts together...well...the stuff will be obsolete. What they hey...

Looks pretty good...
...I know your getting the vario version of the pump and not the "B" model...Which Kaze fans are you going to use, the 80+ or the 100+?

As for the Kaze, I've been trying to decide...price wise there really isn't a big difference, and I'm not sure if even having 100+ cfm is even going to be worth it or not. I'm thinking, I'll probably end up with the 100+ and then turning them down until I find my comfortable sound/cooling sweet spot, but giving myself the overhead to crank em up if I want to do some benchies or what not.

![]() This will be a long process, I'm not accustomed to spending this much money on anything. Chances are at some point I'll chicken out, and end up with just the CPU loop, dang those EK blocks are expensive, plus adding all the added bits for a second loop really blows up the price. I'm going to try and go all the way with this...but I'm sure at some point, I'll cave...I need someone to sponsor me...though I don't play games, and I don't take my rig out of the house...I need someone to just give me free money with no expectation of a return ![]()

...You can always tell them you got it in the great WC'ing wars of '08...![]() Take you time and enjoy it, the doing is at least half the fun to me anymore.. Unless your just really wanting to push your GPU's I'd just stick some good HSF's on them to. Like you said the blocks are expensive, if you cant just use a good core block like the Swifty 60. If your not pushing their clocks I'd rather see you add something extra to your CPU only loop, or high binned ram, something that will better help your CPU clocks... All I do is OC and hang cooling gear on my rig to OC a little higher. The only other thing i do with my rig is web surf, so I'm kind of CPU oriented anyway... Hey if you can find sponsor like that shoot them my way to... ...HaHa...

As it is...just moving over to water will cost nearly $900 with the current list. I wish that the other options for VGA cooling weren't so ding, dang, darn ugly.

Just kinda FYI. I have a couple of the 100+ cfm kaze's and they rattle/click something fierce when turned down.

![]() I can't wait to see this, be sure to post lots of pics of the WC loops being assembled and stuff. If I were you, I would start with a CPU only loop though, that way you don't have to spend so much cash at once .
