I wish I could find the link, but I remember seeing an all copper design with individual tubes instead of a single chamber. A small external fan would aid in the cooling process.
Same basic shape ... but made of loosly packed copper tubing.

Is that one of those we were looking at in Australia a year or two ago Joe? I remember something like that to, it totally escapes me where it was at right now.

Not that it matters much since you've already made up your mind but the reservoir you've shown in the picture there is an older model.

The latest ones have small fins on the inside of the chamber as well to increase water surface area!
Yea ive actually seen the newer version Marcus..it does look like it will aid in cooling a little more than the 1st versions, im still open to changes but its the aluminium insides which turn me away i dont want there to be ANY possibility of corrosion.

i have that res, it's the 150mm black anodized version. nothing seems wrong with it, except that the black anodizing likes 2 rinse off n the sink and it left my 1st loop a lil darker and stickier
You know it was the black one i was actually looking at..and now its got one against it, i wouldnt want a darker stickier loop, it maybe fixed in the newer version, but i dont want to take any chances.

That actually worked on me!

I think if you get the newer versions they will give improved cooling and maybe they might have a less chance of causing corrosion.

i don't know if the silver 1 is anodized or not, but if they made 1 that was maybe just clear coated... and COPPER - n a heartbeat
