hi there everyone.
i've been here at overclock.net for quite some time and now I think it's time for me to take the plunge over from air to water. I have read over the various threads. and i was wondering if i could get the opinion of those from this forum. I am planning to buy the following: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/22...and_38_ID.html http://www.jab-tech.com/product.php?productid=2982 those two I know that i'm getting for sure. I want to get a dtek fuzion v1 http://www.jab-tech.com/D-tek-FuZion...k-pr-3667.html thru someone here on the forums IF not I don't mind buying new. i've been confused also about what kind of rad to get. I've been flip-flopping between a 240 and a 360. As you can see, I have a rocketfish & i plan on placing the rad internally on the top part. I also do plan on having my fans in a pull position. (with or w/o a shroud) because i'm not sure which would fit. this is going to be a cpu only loop. as for the 240 rad i've been looking at: http://www.jab-tech.com/Swiftech-MCR...k-pr-3199.html i'm not quite sure what to get with the 360. I will be posting wanted threads in the Marketplace for a fuzion v1 & whatever type of rad. if there are no responses, i dont mind buying from an etailer. i'm not quite sure if i left anything out. but opinions please. thank you! agntallen.

Hey, Looks pretty good. If your just wanting to cool your CPU you can get away using that 240, but honestly I'd get a 360, its just not that much more $$ to go from a 240 to 360. The extra rad surface area you get is well worth a few more $$. A Swifty 320 would be fine for just a CPU loop. I'd use some decent cfm 120x38mm fans on it, these are nice ones ones that I've used a lot..86cfm Pana.
Heres Martins recent Swifty rad thermals...Remember that you want to keep a 5C or less rad out to ambient delta for good OC'ing performance ..Swiftech MCR320 Thermal Testing Results -Martin This is good tubing..7/16x5/8".you use it on 1/2" barbs, its a little more compact and fits the barbs tighter....Or this for full size..1/2x3/4".. Coolant..Pentosin..Biocide..PT Nuke..I'll leave you my cleaning and set-up PDF, it has all my coolant recipe in it. Here is a Rocketfish that By-Tor managed to set up 2 loops in, maybe it will give you some ideas..Ooops, I'll have to go find it, I'll edit it in a minute. ![]() EDIT: Found it...[Project] "The Dark Spider"
