Default Need help, odd project/problem

Alright, my sister's Fiance (From now on refered to as Andy), has a 91 Suzuki GSXR. These old bikes used the engine oil as the coolant, and it has a curved radiator. The rad is approximately 150mm tall, and quite wide, however, the front forks deny any "side placement" options.

We are planning on using some computer fans to cool the thing off (only used in the summer, never on rainy days). Why computer fans? Because we simply cannot find an aftermarket option, without shelling out massive cash for a replacement rad.

So, backstory told, what would be the better option?
One 120x38mm high speed fan (Delta/Sanyo Denki) with 200+ CFM that covers the central part of the rad, or a pair of 92x38MM fans with 150-160 CFM each, that covers a full vertical section of the rad?

We don't want to cover too much of the radiator, as when at speed, the bikes velocity, I believe, would render the fans as a bottle neck.

Fans looked at currently:
Sanyo-Denki 92mm
Delta PFB 120mm
Delta AFB 92x38
Delta QFR 92x38

The two Delta 92x38mm fans differ in their Air pressure vs flow rates.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

I'm thinking that if the radiator has enough exposure to be air-cooled when the bike is moving then the fans would be easily susceptible to road-damage.

Not to mention the bottle-neck of cooling that would happen. 150CFM fan is no match for 70mph bike.

You'd also need to ghetto-mod it from the molex connectors to some 5v source.

lol I say go with what the others say. make a shroud.

It's not for when the bike is moving, but rather, when Andy is stuck in traffic, that the bike easily begins to overheat. He's had to pull off to the side of the road before and wait for it to cool off due to hot summer days and traffic.

On the mounting system, we are going to have his friend fab up a bracket that will be a bolt in affair, and then wire it all into the bikes 12v system with a small toggle switch near the gauge.

They do? I haven't seen them (or really read that deep in the specs in all honesty).

Hmmm, I cannot seem to find anything about fans that are waterproof on Delta's site.

Although, I think I am leaning towards the idea of the single 120mm for power, and simplicity reasons.

not sure where you could buy them though... or if you can even do that for a single fan. e-mail them?

Whatever fans you decide on they should definitely go in Pull configuration for maximum effect!
I've used this concept on a turbo-charged custom 750 Kawasaki flat tracker back in LA.
