What are you going to us to make it with? Do you have a drill press you are going to use? Or do it all by hand with saws and files?

If they can do the pins I'd go for #3, have them make you a jacket for it and a top to..You can solder the jacket to it to save some money, but I would have them drill and tap your top...6-32 for the screws and G1/4 for the barb threads..If you do the pins base I'd use a 3 barb top, center in and 2 outs diagonally in each corner, you can get some pretty good flow that way...
For a 2 barb block # 2 would be a real nice one to, or #4 for that matter..

i'm sorry guys but i don't know why i can't be satisfied with the block that you choose.
__________________have you seen any comparative between that block and another one with the same pump and rad ? sorry to be so annoying, is hard for me to make a decision, i started and stopped this project 3 times in 2 years and just now after 2 year i bought the copper :P

i haven't seen any comparison tests between the different designs, but it's simple physics. the more area that the coolant has 2 touch, the colder it will keep the block.
