say... one has a Stinger V8 CPU block.. the one with 3 barbs, one in and Two out.... and you have two 240 rads.. and two Gfx cards on water cooling.....
Can you do something like this: (order of loop goes down) Pump CPU with two out ports GPU----GPU (In parallel, each CPU out goes to one GPU IN) Rad 1--- Rad 2 (each GPU feeds to another, identical radiator) Reservoir (custom reservoir that has two IN ports to accommodate?) Back to pump If I make a new build sometime soon I might consider this as a nice way to get a very interesting setup.... Now I realize that each GPU gets "slower" water but from what I understand with GPU's they can handle a bit more heat anyhow so it *should* be fine anyhow Theres also the CPU block being the water bottleneck.. well Ive seen some stinger V8 with a 3/4" hose as an inlet.... maybe this is a solution? Again, its just an idea... what do YOU guys think?

that would work but as i've heard, your fluid will take to the loop with the least restriction.. so gotta keep that in mind but it should be pretty cool if it all goes as planned!

I think it would work decently but having 2 loops each with their own pump that meet at a Y before the CPU then split at the V8 again would make the most sense to me. If you have them both on 1 pump the fluid will flow more through the path of less resistance so one side will cool better than the other.

well considering GPU blocks will be identical as with the rads... I only see the res introducing the issue which is completely fixable in any scenario
Or maybe hose length?

As long as you used identical GPU blocks and rad's it would be a fine way of doing it, I cant see anything wrong with it, what little variance you might get from one GPU core to the other wouldn't be enough to worry about....
I've been wanting to add a rad to each of my TEC blocks outs to help my flow...I just cant see myself buying another 480 GTX anytime soon just to do that...It would give me some good flow, I have the 3/4" inlet and with 2 1/2" outs to their own rad and then there own lines back to the res...

You will have a difference in tube length and how much the tubing is bent between the two sides, though the height of each video card makes no difference since both would start and end at identical heights. But yeah probably negligible none the less.

i'm liknig the idea of zaeric's. two pumps.. like two ddc pumps one for each separated loop. but of course, if gpu blocks and rads are the same, then no problem, like everyone else said.

Well with the dual pump thing how does this sound:
Two DDC pumps with the Res top (I already have one) then a 2x.5" to 3/4" adapter to go back to the CPU.... This sounds feasable and if you think about it, kinda gives redundancy to a small degree (for the CPU at least) This sounds like a better idea! man though, this would be a very expensive project though seeing as it needs another DDC+$50 top, two LCS GPU solutions, the Stinger V8 block, and another $60 rad Yep, this idea won't be a possibility for a LOOOONG time ![]()
