Long Life Red additive any good?
I am wondering if the Long Life Red coolant additive that Petra sells is any good. I was comparing it to G11, they both contain Ethylene Glycol and Diethylene Glycol. However G11 also says it contains Sebacic Acid and Sodium Hydroxide. The only difference in the descriptions of the two is that G11 states it prevents formation of lime. I would think that if you use distilled water there wouldn't be minerals in the water to form lime anywhere but I no expert. Just thought I would before I tried it, I am sure it works or else Petra wouldn't sell it, just looking for input.
I was also wondering if pump orientation affects performance/life span/anything. I am thinking it doesn't from some of the pump mounts various sites sell but again, nothing says for sure.
Thanks ahead of time for the help.
