I just wanted to run this idea by some of you WC experts. I have an Alienware with the newer P2 Chassis. As you may know, it has those ribbed vents on the side, with each side having an intake fan.
I was thinking about switching the air cooling with a water cooling solution using the Black Ice GT eXtreme 360. Do you guys think it would work to cut away some of the metal on the inside of one of the side panels so I could mount the radiator behind the outer vent cover?

if you mount it inside the removable side panel , how will you get it on or off ? you would need to leave a couple of feet of extra tubing to allow you to remove the side panel , and in a pc water cooling loop , the less tubing you can use , the better off you will be...i agree , hang it off the back with either a store bought rad box or something custom you can make yourself.
