I'm considering leaping to the watercooling side (and maybe later peltier as well) and am wondering if an Eheim 1000 which does 1000lph would be powerful enough to support the following loop:
Pump mounted in reservoir at bottom of case ---> CPU block (XSPC Edge - which has very low restriction) ---> 360mm rad ---> GPU block ---> 240mm rad --> Back to reservoir/pump (via gravity) Any problems with that route? Not sure that is the way that the radiators would go, but it's just an idea. ![]() Would the pump be powerful enough? Reservoir in the bottom of the case which is why it would go back via gravity, by the way. ![]()

What's the head on the pump?
Reservoir location doesn't matter that much.

Er, you might want a little more of a pump to push all that, depending. how long do you plan your loop to be?

Edit: The case would be built around the components of my build (custom case) so I can imagine that it will be pretty efficient in the terms of loop length) Anybody else? DuckieHo what's your verdict?

Go to Martin's Liquid Lab... and find a comparable pump and guesstimate.
